We are seeking an experienced Propulsion Systems Engineer to join our team at Beta Technologies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and validating propulsion system and component requirements, conducting system integration activities, and planning, coordinating, and executing verification activities with various engineering disciplines.

Your Responsibilities

  • Developing and validating propulsion system and component requirements;
  • Conducting system integration activities such as interface definition, hardware and software test support, and system-to-system integration testing;
  • Planning, coordinating, and executing verification activities with various engineering disciplines;

What You'll Need

  • Experience with development of requirements-based testing for complex electronic systems;
  • Demonstrated proficiency working within a structured development process;
  • Familiarity with modern workspace tools such as Slack and Google Suite;

Above and Beyond

  • Demonstrated proficiency in development and life cycle data management of complex aerospace systems, including ARP4754A/B, DO-178C, and DO-331;
  • Familiarity with MathWorks' tools such as MATLAB and Simulink for model-based development;
  • Experience with Title 14 CFR parts 23, 25, 27, 29, or 33;
  • Exposure to motor control and inverter design would be valuable;
  • Some amount of exposure to embedded control systems would be a bonus.
