Job Title: Financial/Budget Analyst

Markon Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Financial/Budget Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our financial team, you will be responsible for providing financial analysis and consultation support to our government clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide business/financial analysis and consultation support to government clients.
  • Coordinate, review, and monitor annual spend plans.
  • Participate in program meetings and reviews.
  • Monitor execution rates and inform management of potential issues.
  • Fund contracts, Service Level Agreements, and MIPRs.
  • Work seamlessly with partner contractors and government personnel at all levels.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and have a working knowledge of other Microsoft applications.
  • Working knowledge of government financial systems.
  • Experience in performing programmatic, costs, and schedule sensitivity analyses for multi-million dollar projects.
  • Knowledgeable in the fields of financial monitoring and control, budget execution, and government finance and contracting.
  • Ability to perform independent analyses, strategizing, planning, forecasting, and documenting from multiple large data sources.
  • Knowledge of the government budgetary process.
  • Portfolio Management experience preferred.
