La Palma Intercommunity Hospital is seeking an experienced Radiologic Technologist to work as a CT Imaging Specialist in our esteemed imaging department.
About the JobWe are looking for a skilled professional who can assist our radiologists and medical staff in performing high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care.
The successful candidate will work 40 hours per week on 8-hour shifts, with opportunities for overtime. We offer a competitive pay package, including a tax-free stipend, which will be confirmed based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week.
Job Responsibilities- Assist radiologists and medical staff in performing CT scans, ensuring accurate diagnoses and minimal patient discomfort.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, adhering to all relevant healthcare regulations and guidelines.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Current ARRT certification in Computed Tomography.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in CT imaging.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
