We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Cook to join our team at Neiman Marcus Group Careers. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality food to our customers while maintaining a smooth and efficient retail restaurant operation.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain an active role in the production of food items needed for daily menus and special events
- Monitor and control inventory costs and profitability through proper use of production, build-to, and order sheets
- Communicate supply needs with the head cook and ensure timely delivery of ingredients
- Perform daily equipment maintenance and report any malfunctions to leadership
- Cooking experience and proficiency in using cutting tools, cookware, and bakeware
- Ability to stand, bend, climb stairs, and lift and carry 35 pounds
- Flexible schedule and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
