Position Details for the Caregiver:

  • Client location: Scranton, PA
  • Compensation: Up to $15 per hour
  • Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 1pm-5pm and Saturday 10am-5pm
  • 1:1 caregiver/client ratio
  • Required Skills: Mechanical lift experience

As a Caregiver, your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering personal care and assistance to seniors to ensure they can live safely at home
  • Supporting daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship
  • Assisting with mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises
  • Providing medication reminders, documenting client conditions, and reporting any concerns to a supervisor
  • Maintaining a safe home environment with clear pathways
  • Engaging clients in enjoyable activities like puzzles, games, reading, and hobbies

Essential Qualifications for our Caregivers:

  • High school diploma or GED; required
  • Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience; required
  • CPR certification; required
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Compassionate demeanor, effective communication skills, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs
