EMCOR Government Services is seeking a highly skilled Facilities Security Manager to serve as the central focal point for Contractor security matters in support of contract operations performed at a sensitive government facility. The successful candidate will support a team of dedicated professionals in delivering a wide range of base operations support services, including installation and facility operations, maintenance and repair, workforce and security support, logistics support, and project management.
Key Responsibilities- Security Operations: Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect contract staff, the facility, and its assets. Conduct security risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
- Coordination and Compliance: Coordinate with government security, law enforcement, and emergency response agencies to ensure contractor security processes and procedures are compliant with prevailing law and policies.
- Training and Development: Conduct security training for employees, including emergency response procedures and prevention techniques.
- Access Control and Investigations: Manage access control systems, including badges, keys, and electronic systems. Investigate security incidents and prepare reports on findings and recommendations.
- Security Clearance: Current Top Secret (TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.
- Security Certification: Current FSO certification administered by the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA); or possess equivalent certification from another federal department or agency.
- Experience: Proven experience in all aspects of the security disciplines, including personnel, physical, operations, industrial, communications, and information. Experience with communications security (COMSEC) a plus.
- Education: A bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Security Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or another related field is highly desired.
