About the Position:
MUSC Health & Medical University of SC is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse II to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide individualized, goal-directed patient care to families and patients at the competent level utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process.

Job Summary:
The successful candidate will work under general supervision to deliver safe and effective care, interacting with other members of the healthcare team to achieve desired results. A key aspect of this role is providing comprehensive care to patients, working closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Providing high-quality patient care that meets the needs of diverse patient populations
• Collaborating with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Participating in education and training programs to enhance professional development

Requirements:
To be considered for this position, you must possess an Associate's Degree in Nursing. A Bachelor's degree is preferred. Additionally, licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state is required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification are also necessary.

Work Environment:
This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks effectively and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously. The ideal candidate will be able to maintain a calm and composed demeanor, even in stressful situations. You will be expected to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Compensation:
We offer a competitive salary of $62,000 per year, based on experience, along with benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
