About the RoleThis position involves providing individualized, goal-directed patient care at a competent level, utilizing the principles and practices of the nursing process. As a Registered Nurse II, you will be responsible for delivering safe and effective care, interacting with other members of the healthcare team to achieve desired results, and maintaining a positive and respectful work environment.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a dedicated and experienced professional who can provide excellent patient care skills, work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to quality patient care, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
The successful candidate will also possess strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, be able to prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain accurate and detailed records. A strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is essential for this role, as well as the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
Requirements- Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state is required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory, either from the American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers or an AHA-recognized equivalent.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is also required for most nursing areas within the hospital.
- Able to perform job functions while standing, sitting, walking, climbing stairs, working indoors, and outdoors in temperature extremes.
- Able to work rotating shifts and overtime as required.
