Job Overview

IERUS Technologies, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Systems Administrator to support security measures and protocols as outlined by NIST for classified IT environments. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity and security of our IT infrastructure.

Position Summary:

The selected candidate will play a vital role in managing and securing our IT systems, ensuring compliance with Department of Defense standards.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, complemented by over 5 years of professional expertise;
  • U.S. citizenship is required;
  • Possession of an Active Top Secret clearance is preferred, with a minimum of a Secret clearance acceptable;
  • Certification at IAT Level II (such as Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, or SSCP);
  • Experience in UNIX/Linux system administration;
  • Familiarity with SAP is advantageous;
  • Proficient in Solaris and Redhat Windows System Administration, including data backup;
  • Experience in managing multi-system and multi-platform environments;
  • Ability to oversee daily operations of server infrastructure, including security management and compliance;
  • Knowledge of Information Protection compliance requirements for Unix/Linux servers and workstations;
  • Demonstrated skills in project management, process enhancement, and documentation;
  • Extensive experience in disaster recovery processes and Windows Domain Controllers.

Work Location: The position is based in Huntsville, AL.
