Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned professional with over 10 years of experience in managing Information Technology projects, particularly those focused on enhancing customer experience and engagement. The systems involved encompass IT, Communications, Physical Security, Audio-Visual, and Structured Cabling. The role will involve diverse project types, ranging from stakeholder engagement to overseeing the implementation of new solutions. Responsibilities include managing design teams, fostering stakeholder relationships, and supervising the development and preparation of technical drawings and specifications, as well as overseeing software implementation, testing, training, and project closure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct and oversee technology-related projects, including consulting, implementation, vendor management, and alignment of costs and schedules.
- Utilize technical expertise in IT, including PMO experience, to create technical and business-related content for reports, analyses, planning, and project execution.
- Stay informed on technology topics relevant to your expertise, such as CRM, Digital Engagement, Mobile, and Web Technologies, through self-study and initiative.
- Develop comprehensive project plans that define scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with overall business strategy.
- Create and update scopes of work, requests for proposals, technical guides, and other documentation as assigned, assisting IT management in project sequencing and budget alignment.
- Identify potential project risks and formulate risk mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on project timelines, budgets, and scope.
- Effectively communicate with stakeholders, managing their expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate and manage technology vendors supporting projects.
- Collaborate with IT professionals, vendors, software developers, and other experts to gather necessary technical information.
- Manage project resources, ensuring timely completion within budget and quality standards.
- Ensure all projects and technical documents meet relevant quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
- Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses to maintain budgetary constraints.
- Establish and manage project schedules, monitoring progress to ensure adherence to timelines.
- Handle project changes, ensuring all modifications are documented and approved by relevant stakeholders.
- Prepare regular progress reports and other project documentation, including project plans, risk registers, and status reports.
- Ensure compliance with internal project management methodologies and change control procedures.
- Participate in inter-departmental coordination and communication to facilitate project success.
Qualifications:
10+ years of relevant experience.
PMP Certification is preferred.
Compensation:
Salary is dependent on education and experience, with an estimated range of $130,000 - $150,000.
