  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies related to immigration matters.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized records of immigration cases, including tracking deadlines, updates, and key milestones.
  • Client Support: Provide guidance and support to healthcare professionals navigating the immigration process, addressing their questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience: In Paralegal Studies, Immigration Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience: As an Immigration Paralegal, with a focus on business immigration and healthcare-related petitions.
  • Proficiency in: Preparing and filing H1B visa petitions, PERM labor certifications, and other relevant immigration documents.
  • Strong knowledge of: Immigration laws, regulations, and procedures, particularly as they pertain to healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills: With the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills: With the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using: Legal software and immigration case management systems.
  • Ability to work: Independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification as a Paralegal: Or completion of a Paralegal program.
  • Experience working in a healthcare or healthcare-related setting: Is highly desirable.
  • Fluency in additional languages: Particularly those commonly spoken by healthcare professionals from diverse backgrounds.
