ULTRAPLAY SYSTEMS INC is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team. As a Welder, you will be responsible for safely welding metal parts together using specified wire welding processes to produce high-quality assemblies.
Key Responsibilities- Weld a variety of steel types and thicknesses, including some aluminum
- Use semi-automatic and robotic welding equipment
- Comply with all safety requirements and maintain a strong safety culture
- Inspect and test welded surfaces to evaluate weld quality and conformance to specifications
- Use precision measuring instruments to inspect grooves, angles, or gap allowances
- Remove rough spots from work pieces using portable grinders, hand files, or scrapers
- Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
- Heat, form, and dress metal parts using hand tools, torches, or arc welding equipment
- Analyze engineering drawings and specifications to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations
- Experience in welding and metal fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
