This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and collaborative leader with expertise in street construction, maintenance, and administration. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Transportation Management, Business, or Public Administration, as well as eight years of managerial experience in a related field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the acquisition and maintenance of automotive, off-road vehicles, and non-stationary motorized equipment fleets for the City.
- Oversee the construction, maintenance, and repair of streets, unpaved rights-of-way, bike lanes, traffic signals, signs and markings, lighting, and parkway landscaping.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve customer service, work processes, and turnaround times.
- Supervise assigned personnel and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
