Job Summary

The Project Manager serves as a key leader in the execution of high-impact and visible projects at Summit Credit Union. This role engages business leaders, subject matter experts, and technology professionals in the delivery of strategic and operational project initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional project teams to monitor and report progress, ensuring timely delivery, quality expectations, and costs within budget.
  • Engage with stakeholders, including business partners, team members, and leadership, to manage expectations and communicate project progress.
  • Identify and proactively resolve potential risks to project success.
  • Champion a continuous learning culture within project teams.
  • Ensure project work complies with Project Management Office and industry standards.
Requirements
  • Process-oriented mindset with a minimum of 1 year of related experience managing medium to large technology projects.
  • Experience with multiple project management methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.
  • Bachelor's degree or combination of applicable work experience and education.
  • Strong initiative, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills for professional interactions with all levels of credit union staff.
  • Experience managing vendors, including influencing, negotiating, and resolving issues.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and project management software.
Physical Demands and Environmental Conditions

While performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to sit, stand, and walk, use hands and fingers. The employee occasionally must reach above and below shoulder level, and lift/push/pull and/or carry up to 10 pounds.

Works in a typical administrative setting with climate control and appropriate lighting. Travel to branches requires exposure to outdoor and traffic conditions.

Variety of office equipment, including telephone, printer, pc, mobile devices, etc.
