Job Title: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Boulder Centre for Orthopedics and Spine. As a vital member of our rehabilitation team, you will work closely with occupational therapists to deliver high-quality rehabilitative services to our clients.

Job Summary:

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant will assist occupational therapists in assessing and treating clients with physical, emotional, or cognitive disabilities. You will work in a dynamic and supportive environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to our clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans for clients.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and goals.
  • Implement interventions and activities to promote client independence and functional abilities.
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
  • Active licensure as a COTA in the State of Colorado.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in an orthopedic or rehabilitation environment.
  • Current BLS or certification within 3 months of hire.
Work Environment:

This position works in a patient physical therapy gym within an orthopedic practice. The environment is well-lit and ventilated, with adequate space for patient treatment and rehabilitation activities.
