**Job Summary**

The Warehouse Lead role at Edwards Vacuum is to oversee the efficient movement of materials through the factory, ensuring accurate inventory and timely order fulfillment. This position requires strong leadership and communication skills to mentor and supervise a team of material handlers.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Train and develop material handlers to maintain an efficient movement of materials through the factory

• Facilitate training and provide supervision to production assemblers as required

• Communicate progress and updates to the Warehouse Supervisor and assist with managing troubleshooting across teams and functional areas

• Maintain a positive team morale with an open atmosphere of teamwork and cooperation

• Participate and contribute in continuous improvement projects to drive efficiency

• Locate materials to pick orders for production jobs being started in assembly

• Prepare materials for shipping by pulling, packing, crating, and loading

• Perform all duties safely and according to procedure

• Ensure that all materials are accurately accounted for through any movement within the site

• Perform cycle counts

• Operate powered pallet jacks and forklifts

• Maintain punctual, regular, and predictable attendance and work collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation

• Respectfully take direction from the supervisor/manager

• Other duties as assigned

**Requirements**

• High School or GED or equivalent experience required

• 3 years minimum in either warehousing, material handling, and/or manufacturing combined

• Inventory control, cycle counting, Kanban, and order picking preferred

• SAP or ERP experience is preferred

• Forklift certification is preferred

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs required

• Good communication skills both written and verbal

• Ability to work overtime as requested
