Tax Manager

We are seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead our growing tax practice with offices located in multiple locations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, expert knowledge in taxation, and the ability to lead and develop a well-prepared tax team.
Key Responsibilities:- Facilitate and manage the preparation of federal and state tax returns
- Review tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Maintain effective control procedures over all aspects of the tax process
- Monitor and mentor members of the tax team to increase effectiveness and development
- Recognize and develop tax planning opportunities for clients
- Respond timely to IRS and other tax notices
- Participate in networking events and business development
- Excellent and up-to-date knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and small business enterprise tax returns
- Knowledge and expertise in the use of UltraTax and related software
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Current CPA license
- Bilingual with verbal and written competency in Spanish and English
- Strong technical tax research experience
- Good problem-solving skills
- Desire and ability to lead and develop a well-prepared tax team
