Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial HVAC Technician to join our team at Boeing. As an Industrial HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration and air conditioning equipment for our plant facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lay out, construct, and install refrigeration and air conditioning equipment for plant facilities.
  • Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
  • Work from engineered drawings, sketches, and verbal instructions to accomplish required work.
  • Read and interpret facilities/mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, and/or schematics.
  • Be capable of visualizing three-dimensional shapes from two-dimensional views and understanding symbols, flag notes, and general notes.
  • Read and make control adjustments using typical testing equipment.
  • Install and adjust valve controls and perform electrical wiring and installation of special electronic controls.
  • Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot all existing types of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
  • Maintain necessary temperature and service records.
  • Maintain required government and Boeing certifications, such as EPA Universal Refrigerant Technician Certification and Lock out/Tag out equipment and related systems.
  • Observe and evaluate system operation using the on-line Energy Management Control System (EMCS), and visually inspect equipment, power source, wiring, plumbing, electronic components, and systems for defects or maintenance problems.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) field.
  • Must possess a card from a certifying organization approved by the EPA, that shows you to be certified as a Universal technician as required by 40 CFR part 82, Subpart.
  • Must be able to complete Fall Protection Training.
  • Must be physically able to lift 35 or more pounds during a shift.
Working Conditions

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
