Job Summary

Amazon Security Finance is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team. As a key strategic partner to senior Security leaders, this role will play a critical part in building a strong security culture by owning financial planning, controllership, and reporting to a growing Security business team.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a finance leader within the Amazon Security finance team, supporting Devices and Kuiper Security teams, including input on business strategy, team development, and management of planning processes.

Regular weekly & monthly reporting that influences business decisions and strategy.

Develop and maintain scalable financial models that drive planning decisions, enable controllership, and give visibility to business drivers.

Perform various ad hoc analyses to help leaders solve business problems and understand the financial implications.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field.

5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.

5+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience.

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience.

5+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business experience.

MBA, or CPA.

Knowledge of SQL/ETL.

Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results.

Compensation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
