Savannah Technical College is seeking a qualified individual to teach in our Automotive Technology program. The instructor will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in both classroom and lab settings.

Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Automotive Technology or related field preferred.
  • Five years of automotive work experience within the past seven years preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as computer skills.
  • Current ASE Certification in all areas teaching.
  • Teaching experience at a postsecondary institution is desirable.
Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and retention of students.
  • Daily teaching duties include class lecture, lesson planning, student advisement, and classroom management.
  • Flexible work schedule hours to include day/evening classes, at all campus locations.
Physical Demands and Salary

The position requires a flexible work schedule and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Salary is commensurate with education and work experience.
