Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Structural Engineering Specialist II to become a vital part of our team, focusing on rehabilitation and design projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• This role requires full onsite presence for the initial six months, transitioning to a hybrid model with two remote days per week.
• Develop a strong understanding of departmental design guidelines, standards, systems, and relevant engineering codes through diligent study and application.
• Assist in the preparation of engineering deliverables, including drawings, reports, specifications, and limited-scope studies.
• Conduct routine research and provide recommendations for the selection of equipment and materials.
• Gather, organize, and manage data pertinent to engineering tasks.
• Execute fundamental engineering calculations using established methods and principles relevant to similar analyses.
• Ensure adherence to budgetary, scheduling, and quality standards.

Design Responsibilities:
• Create and manage 3D surfaces to generate design drawings and volume assessments.
• Collaborate with design teams to produce design drawings for heavy civil infrastructure projects, including mass and detailed grading, drainage systems, roads, tanks, pipelines, and concrete structures utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Qualifications:
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required.
• A Bachelor's Degree in a related field is mandatory.
• Experience with bridge design or inspection is preferred.
• NHI Certification is advantageous.
• Compensation ranges from $37 to $46 per hour.
