Mechanical Systems Design Engineer

At RTM Engineering Consultants, we are seeking a skilled Mechanical Systems Design Engineer to join our team. This role will involve applying mechanical systems design knowledge to create construction drawings for project owners and providing continuous professional support throughout the construction process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project timelines and communicate with the design team and client/customer accurately and timely.
- Prepare proposals and engineering agreements in accordance with company standards.
- Produce mechanical systems design elements consistent with project specifications.
- Research design options and select appropriate equipment for project type.
- Create construction HVAC documents for permitting.
- Produce load calculations and engineering project specifications.
- Execute QA/QC process and provide project coordination with in-house and outside sources.
- Consult on projects to manage schedules, deadlines, site surveys, punch lists, building codes, and standards.
