Senior Principal Scientist, Biostatistics

">About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Biostatistician to join our team in Merck Sharp & Dohme. The successful candidate will have a strong background in statistical analysis methodologies and experimental design.

Responsibilities
  • Serves as a statistical lead in project teams.
  • Develops, coordinates, and provides biostatistical support for related drug/vaccine projects in Late Development Statistics.
  • Liaises with Clinical, Regulatory, Statistical Programming, Data Management, and Research Laboratories Scientists in designing and analyzing clinical trials.
Requirements
  • PhD or equivalent degree in statistics/biostatistics or related discipline with a minimum of 9 years relevant work experience.
  • Masters degree with a minimum of 12 years relevant work experience.
  • Strong scientific leadership in design and analysis of clinical trials.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Salary Range

The estimated salary for this role is $180,000 - $220,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
