Production Line Manager

Job Summary

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational safety, product quality, and records accuracy for a newly developed production line. You will deploy and maintain standards, own the daily direction setting process, and lead the operating team to best manage business results. Your expertise will be crucial in fostering a healthy team culture and building the capability of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement in-process measures for line performance, including PR, SPD, UPDT, PDT, team capability, and RTT Cycle.
  • Lead the operating team to manage business results, including maintenance, unplanned downtime, loss elimination, training, and planned stops.
  • Review and influence daily production plans to minimize changeovers and scrap losses.
  • Ensure team accountability to safety and quality systems and policies.
  • Investigate and resolve safety and quality issues, and work with production planners to meet production needs.
  • Coach teams on RTT DMS Ownership and Execution, and effectively use UPS/WPI and coach team members.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance and productivity.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree with previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership skills to supervise a team, motivate, train, and guide team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Strong communication skills to instruct team members, collaborate with diverse groups, and report issues or concerns.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills to address issues promptly, minimize downtime, and ensure smooth operations.
  • A highly motivated self-starter and finisher who can work under pressure without compromising quality.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.
