Job Title: MRI Technologist

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurses, Inc. in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. This is a 13-week contract with 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and evening hours.

Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly
  • Monitor patients during procedures and ensure their safety and comfort
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Maintain accurate records of patient procedures and images
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of recent experience in MRI technology
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to new environments and situations
