Job Title: Travel MRI Technologist

Focus Staff is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Travel MRI Technologist to join our team. As a Travel MRI Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and healthcare professionals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified MRI Technologist to work on a travel assignment in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in magnetic resonance imaging and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes.
  • Under the direction of the Chief of Radiology and the Imaging Services Director, perform related technological functions to ensure optimal diagnostic quality of patient care.
  • Interview patients to explain magnetic resonance imaging procedures and address any concerns they may have.
  • Ensure patient and staff safety by explaining safety protocols and monitoring patients via closed-circuit TV.
  • Orient new hires and train MRI Technologists, students, and trainees.
Requirements:
  • Two years of continuous recent experience as a MRI Technologist and be fully proficient in all the duties required of a MRI Technologist II.
  • License in required state.
  • BLS.
  • Must be fully proficient in MRI and have knowledge of the required protocols in performing complex MRI procedures.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other incumbents of the organization.
  • Ability to learn applications relevant to the position.
  • Two years of hospital experience in clinical area; EP preferred.
