Job Title: Caregiver/CNA

FirstLight Home Care is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver/CNA to provide high-quality in-home care for a senior client in Columbia, TN.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a reliable and trustworthy Caregiver/CNA to assist our client with daily living activities, including transfers, bathing, dressing, and grooming. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience as an in-home Caregiver, CNA, or related experience, and be able to effectively communicate with our client and their family.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with transfers using a gait belt
  • Encourage client to sit in the living room chair as often as possible
  • Allow client as much independence as is safe
  • Assist with showering and bathing
  • Prepare and serve healthy meals and snacks
  • Keep client hydrated and assist with light housekeeping
  • Engage in conversation and report changes as observed
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year experience as an in-home Caregiver, CNA, or related experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate through written and verbal language
  • Valid Driver's License and adequate auto insurance
  • Consent to criminal, elder abuse, motor vehicle, and sex offender background checks
  • Consent to drug and alcohol testing
  • TB test
