About the Role

We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our surgical team on night shifts. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed physician or RN, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans.
  • Coordinate patient care with other departments, ensuring seamless transitions and effective communication.
  • Maintain patient rights and confidentiality, adhering to our organization's strict standards for patient information.
  • Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; consideration will be given for comparable education experience and successful licensure.
  • Current LPN license within the hiring state, meeting all State Board of Nursing requirements.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
  • LPN-IV Certification must be previously completed or successful completion of course within 3 months of hire.
