About the Role

We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our surgical team at Mercy Southeast. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care under the supervision of a licensed physician or RN, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, and implement care.
  • Coordinate patient care with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information, adhering to our mission and values.
  • Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
  • Current LPN license in the hiring state, with consideration given for comparable education experience and successful licensure.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.
  • LPN-IV Certification must be previously completed or successful completion of course within 3 months of hire.
