About the Role:

The Occupational Therapist - Rehabilitation Specialist provides quality care to all residents, evaluating patients, planning, and implementing patient treatment, planning, and coordinating patient discharge, and preparing detailed progress reports and appropriate patient documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train patients in daily living activities, functional skills, motor development, compensation techniques, use of adaptive equipment, and splinting.
  • Test and evaluate patients' physical and mental abilities, analyzing rehabilitation goals and consulting with the rehab team to coordinate the most effective occupational therapy program.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the State of California.
