Pet Host Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and animal-loving individual to join our team as a Pet Host at Pet Lodge Pet Resort. As a Pet Host, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Check-in and Check-out: Handle the arrival and departure of clients and their pets, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Pet Care and Handling: Provide top-notch care and handling for dogs and cats, including feeding, walking, and playtime.
  • Facility Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and safety of our facilities, including the play areas, kennels, and common spaces.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative tasks, such as managing cash and credit transactions, reporting, and reconciliations.
Requirements:
  • Animal Experience: A passion for animals and animal care, with experience handling dogs and cats.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients and staff in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and handle dogs of all sizes.
  • Availability: Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
