About the Role:

  • Provide direct patient care and support in an ambulatory setting, working closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Assist in evaluating the effectiveness of care given and progress patients toward desired outcomes.
  • Implement age-appropriate interventions based on individual patient needs, as directed by the registered nurse/provider.
  • Contribute to the professional development of others, promoting teamwork and collaboration in the delivery of patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing education and reinforcement of care plans, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and individualized care.

Requirements:

  • Graduated from an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse Program.
  • Licensed to practice as a Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Commonwealth of Virginia prior to onboarding.
  • BLS: Basic Life Support-American Heart Association (AHA).
