Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain late model John Deere equipment used in planting, harvesting, and other agricultural activities.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Assist in the feeding and care of cattle in the feedlot during the winter months.
  • Participate in calving, feeding, doctoring, fencing, and overall upkeep of the operation.
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve operational goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement solutions to problems and challenges that arise in the field.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in row crop production working with larger equipment.
  • Plant through harvest experience preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to take direction and work collaboratively with others.

  • Overtime after 90 hours every 2 weeks.
