Tax Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Advisor to join our team at H&R Block. As a Tax Advisor, you will be responsible for providing tax preparation, tax audit support, and tax planning services to our clients year-round.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their tax needs and provide personalized service.
- Conduct tax interviews with clients to gather information and provide tax planning advice.
- Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Provide tax audit support and representation to clients, ensuring they are prepared for any tax-related issues.
- Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations, and provide ongoing training and education to clients on tax-related topics.
- 5+ years of tax experience, with a strong background in individual tax returns and tax planning.
- CPA or Enrolled Agent certification, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with clients of all levels of tax complexity.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment, or equivalent.
