Data Science Strategy Consultant
Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly experienced Data Science Strategy Consultant to lead our large-scale AI and ML programs/initiatives. The ideal candidate will have expertise in advanced data analytics engagements, including model development, and experience in establishing and leading programs end-to-end while scaling for growth.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the management, execution, and delivery of large-scale programs (multi-year, large cost and scope, etc.) and/or the oversight and governance of programs to ensure alignment to the line of business strategic imperatives and to monitor program health.
- Work to achieve multi-year program deadlines, scope, and overall program benefits. Define multiple program strategies based on business demand and return on investment expectations.
- Partner with customer leadership on establishing effective change & communication plan, information distribution, and cross-CoSA collaboration.
- Enforce the agile process workflow and hold individual team members accountable for responsibilities and commitments.
- Anticipate challenges, identify risks, and recommend mitigations and solutions. Own and drive those solutions. Encourage and coach teams to be self-accountable and self-empowered.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Expertise in leading large AI&ML programs/initiatives, advanced data analytics engagements including model development.
- Experience with establishing programs and leading them end to end while scaling for growth.
- Experience (typically) of managing multiple teams.
- Experience building relationships with customer stakeholders at all levels and collaborating with cross-functional teams across multiple locations.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguous situations.
- Experience communicating with data to drive change; ability to find commonalities in GenAI initiatives across organization, identify opportunities to optimize and innovate across the organization, ability to build a common strategy.
- Develops strong partnerships with product owners, architects and development Leads to transform Business objectives into execution strategy.
- Ability to assess program risks across multiple product teams and report impact to the customer's strategic objectives.
- Accountable for zero-tolerance adherence to Scrum processes (Standups, Release plan, Sprint Planning, Reviews and Retros).
The ideal candidate will also have:
- Expertise in Scrum/Agile methodologies, and strong experience/understanding of Scrum/Agile at Scale (SAFe).
