As a vital member of our team, you will provide essential round-the-clock care, including nursing and medical supervision, to our residents.
Position Overview:
This role is crucial in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, assisting them with daily activities such as personal care.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, daily hygiene assistance, meal preparation, risk management, and adhering to personalized behavioral management plans based on individual resident needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Employ clinical nursing skills to observe, monitor, and deliver care, treatment, and services to residents.
Carry out primary nursing responsibilities for assigned residents during your shift, ensuring timely completion of daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual nursing assessments in line with each resident's Active Treatment Plan.
Monitor residents' physical health, communicating any safety and health concerns to the Director of Nursing, physicians, pharmacists, and other relevant professionals as necessary.
Qualifications Required:
Current nursing license in the state of Florida.
Ability to lift at least fifty (50) lbs without assistance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of six months' experience in hospital or rehabilitation nursing is preferred.
Compensation:
Hourly rate ranging from $35.00 to $41.00 based on experience.
Work Environment:
Standard office setup
Frequent use of a keyboard
Regular bending and standing
Exposure to consistent noise levels
Shift hours: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM
