Job Summary

We are seeking an Office Assistant to join our team at UW Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing patient Financial Assistance applications, maintaining scanning and/or indexing of payment batches, and processing incoming mail and preparing documents for scanning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze patient Financial Assistance applications for required documentation and completeness.
  • Maintain scanning and/or indexing of payment batches, financial documents, and payor correspondences.
  • Process incoming mail and prepare documents for scanning.
  • Maintain knowledge of and adhere to all HIPAA, confidentiality, and compliance regulations, rules, guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Effectively prioritize electronic images to be processed to maximize the opportunity for downstream revenue cycle teams to perform their functions timely and effectively.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of experience in an administrative support role preferred.
