Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

As a Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal role in the discovery, design, development, and implementation of EPM solutions throughout the organization. Your responsibilities will include:
  1. Acting as a principal resource in the enhancement and management of the Oracle EPM system, focusing on EDM and EPBCS modules.
  2. Analyzing and documenting business workflows, procedures, and requirements to pinpoint areas for enhancement and executing system upgrades.
  3. Collaborating closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into system designs, specifications, and testing plans.
  4. Configuring, developing, testing, and deploying system modifications and enhancements.
  5. Overseeing system testing and validation processes, including user acceptance testing and comprehensive end-to-end testing.
  6. Creating and delivering training and support materials for end-users.

Continuous Improvement

Stay informed about Oracle EPM product updates and new functionalities, offering recommendations for system enhancements, and participating in regression testing of Oracle software updates and patches.

Required Expertise

Experience in EDM implementations and support is essential. You should possess:
  • Proficiency in applying industry best practices and customizing the EDM application to meet client needs, thereby facilitating business processes.
  • Experience in managing EDM hierarchies, providing a centralized repository of master data and associated attributes, and creating mappings that support downstream applications while enabling data governance.
  • Technical skills in scripting for writing Business Rules, Data Management, and EPM Automation.

Integration and Development

Responsibilities will also include:
  • Creating and maintaining EPBCS Business Rules and Forms, as well as integrations between EPM and other systems using EPM Agent, Data Management, Python, Groovy, and SQL.
  • Supporting Oracle Planning Cloud (EPBCS), Data Management, EPM Automate, Oracle Profitability and Cost Management Cloud Services (PCMCS), Strategic Modeling, and Smartview for both Mac and Windows.
  • Developing applications for Balance Sheet and P&L forecasting, Cash Flow and GAAP reporting, and enhancements to alternate hierarchies and Chart of Accounts.
  • Providing support for Oracle SQL, ETL processes, multidimensional analysis, databases, data calculations, and aggregation techniques.
  • Managing security across various EPM applications based on access requests.
  • Supporting ongoing operations and participating in an on-call rotation for the Oracle EPM solution.
