Job Opportunity

Clarity HR Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our mental health program, you will provide essential services to children and families in need.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Associate Therapist to provide mental health and case management services to assigned children and their families. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in social work, marriage and family therapy, or clinical psychology, and will be able to work effectively with seriously emotionally disturbed adolescents, parents, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Mental Health Services: Conduct individual, family, and group counseling services for clients and collaterals, and provide case planning and intervention services to ensure that services are appropriate to individual client needs.
  • Triage and Case Management: Triage incoming cases in consultation with the referring agency/individual and prioritize cases with the greatest severity of impairment and need.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Complete intake forms, case notes, and other required documentation in compliance with mental health services program protocols, and prepare periodic reports as required.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Interact and communicate effectively with seriously emotionally disturbed adolescents, parents, foster parents, caretakers, schools, other staff, physicians, county agencies, other health care providers, and the public.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or clinical psychology, and 2 years of DMH documentation experience.
  • Certifications and Training: Current registration with California Board of Behavioral Sciences, and Evidence-Based Training Certification preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and ability to interact and communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
