Job Overview

Royal Communications Consultants Inc is seeking a highly skilled Voice / Network Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our technical infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our enterprise voice communications network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the reliability and performance of our enterprise voice communications network.
  • Plan and implement unified communications-based projects, including the installation, maintenance, and management of voice equipment and applications.
  • Mentor and train junior engineers and technicians to ensure knowledge transfer and continuity.
  • Design and develop architectural enhancements for Cisco unified communication systems, troubleshoot issues, and create functional and technical design documentation.
  • Partner with vendors, clients, carriers, and technical staff to implement, optimize, and manage VoIP solutions, including troubleshooting infrastructure and services.
  • Monitor and safeguard the overall technical capabilities, stability, and performance of our voice and data network.
  • Provide recommendations for the design and implementation of VoIP enhancements and produce and maintain all necessary technical documentation.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • CCNA Voice, CCNP Voice, or CCIE Collaboration certifications are highly preferred.
  • 6+ years of experience working on VOIP, Call Manager, Unity, and voice gateways.
  • 5+ years of experience implementing Voice solutions.
  • 5+ years of experience designing domestic call routing with Cisco VG, CME, CUE, and CCM.
  • 5+ years of experience supporting contact centers.
  • 5+ years of experience with Voice Cloud Technologies.
  • 5+ years of experience with WEBEX Video Conferencing technologies.
  • Solid background in network administration and architecture.
  • Demonstrated experience writing voice and network security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Voice recording integration with third-party solutions.
  • Low-level design details for unified communications solutions.
  • Basic LAN and WAN network routing and switching.
  • QOS policies across enterprise for data, voice, and video solutions.
  • Experience with disaster recovery plans and related technologies.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, available after hours and weekends as needed, and willing to work on-call rotation.
  • Available to travel up to 25% of the time.
