Speech Language Pathologist PRN Job Description

At CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region, we are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist PRN to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist PRN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and services to individuals with neurological, swallowing, speech-language, cognitive, pragmatic, voice, and other cognitive-related disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a continuum of services to patients with neurological, swallowing, speech-language, cognitive, pragmatic, voice, and other cognitive-related disorders.
  • Utilize the rehab process to promote and restore optimal health and well-being of patients.
  • Assume personal accountability for organizational mission and core values.

Requirements:

  • Two years of work experience providing direct patient care in an inpatient or outpatient setting.
  • Prior use of electronic medical records (EMR).
  • Master's degree in speech-language therapy with a Certificate of Clinical Competence.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • Current Speech Language Pathologist Certification with the State of Colorado.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association.

Work Environment:

This is a day PRN inpatient SLP role at Longmont United Hospital with variable day shifts. This is an independent role that works solo within our inpatient department. This role will be completing MBSS.
