Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Audit Professional to join our team. As an Audit Professional, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our clients' financial statements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Develop a deep understanding of our audit approach, methodology, and tools
  • Conduct analytical reviews of audit documents and identify areas for improvement
  • Assist in the development of audit work papers and ensure they are well-organized and concise
  • Participate in the review of client accounting and operating procedures and systems of internal control
  • Perform tests of internal controls and substantive audit procedures
  • Apply concepts of risk management and identify potential risks and issues
  • Assist in the identification of accounting and audit issues and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Understand and apply technical standards with the expected level of assistance and supervision
  • Recognize relevant financial statement issues from basic analysis and communicate to the team
  • Participate in FML orientation, training, and mentoring activities

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor of Science or Master of Science in Accounting with a goal of meeting the educational requirements to become a certified public accountant
  • Strong academic standing

  • Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work on multiple assignments and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels
  • Willingness to travel to out-of-town engagements
