About the Role

The Senior R&D Culinary Manager will be responsible for driving culinary innovation and product development at Ruprecht CO. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong culinary background, business acumen, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute culinary strategies to drive business growth and revenue
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop new products and improve existing ones
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities
  • Collaborate with operations and production teams to ensure seamless product development and launch
  • Manage and execute product development projects from concept to commercialization
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and regulatory teams
  • Provide culinary expertise and support to sales and marketing teams
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to drive business growth
Requirements
  • Culinary degree required; concentration in food science or R&D
  • 8-10 years' experience as an R&D chef or in a similar role
  • Experience with sous vide cooking and industrial cooking processes
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with product development and launch
  • Knowledge of food safety and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to travel overnight for business
