Job Summary

Fresenius Medical Care North America is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Patient Care Technician to join our team. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with hemodialysis treatment, including setting up and operating dialysis machines, and monitoring patients' vital signs.
  • Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and support.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of patient treatment and progress.
  • Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; certification in patient care or a related field preferred.
  • Previous patient care experience in a hospital setting or related facility preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift and move patients, and equipment, as needed.
