Job SummaryThe Physical Therapy Assistant will work in a school-based setting, providing direct and indirect physical therapy services to students. This is a 10-month position that requires a strong commitment to supporting the development and well-being of our students.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Provide direct physical therapy services to students in educational settings.
- Train and instruct teachers, parents, and paraprofessionals in delegated techniques and equipment use.
- Travel to and among schools to provide services.
- Lift, transfer, and position children and equipment as necessary.
- Associates degree from an accredited program for physical therapy assistants; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Licensed to practice as a physical therapy assistant in PA or NJ; both are preferred.
