Responsibilities- Source and evaluate new investments in the decarbonization space.
- Invest in and contribute to building portfolio companies shaping the future of sustainability and innovation.
- As a member of the investment team, you'll gain broad exposure to and the ability to learn from GPs, other investment professionals, and Venture and Operating partners with deep domain expertise.
- Participate in investment decision-making, contribute to fundraising efforts, and develop investment theses.
- A PhD in material science, chemical engineering, or a related field.
- One year of investing experience, preferably at a Venture Capital firm.
- Demonstrated industry experience and established connections in your expertise.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work 3+ days a week at Playground's Palo Alto HQ.
The annual base salary range is $150,000 to $200,000. The base salary will depend on numerous factors such as experience, knowledge, and skills. We offer a competitive performance bonus plan based on individual performance and company success.
