Position Overview
Tridant Solutions Inc. is seeking a dedicated Vascular Access Nurse to join our team. This role is essential for providing specialized care in vascular access, ensuring patients receive the highest quality of treatment.

Key Responsibilities
The Vascular Access Nurse will:
  • Specialize in vascular access, offering consultation and treatment for various IV access methods, including PICC lines, midline catheters, and ultrasound-guided peripheral IVs.
  • Adhere to evidence-based practices and comply with relevant nursing regulations and standards.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, interpret clinical data, and collaborate effectively with healthcare teams.
  • Educate patients and their families on the management of central lines and strategies to prevent complications.
  • Assess and insert appropriate vascular access devices for patients requiring long-term therapy.

Duties Include
  • Evaluating patients with challenging access needs to determine suitable vascular access devices.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure timely assessment and implementation of vascular access devices.
  • Providing education on vascular access to patients, families, and staff.
  • Reviewing physician orders and obtaining necessary consents.
  • Documenting all procedures and patient interactions accurately in medical records.
  • Monitoring patients for adverse reactions and evaluating the effectiveness of interventions.
  • Maintaining a supportive environment conducive to healing through patient engagement and education.

Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
  • A valid RN license in the State of California.
  • A nursing degree (BSN or MSN) from an accredited institution.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • A minimum of 12 months of relevant acute care experience.
  • Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and IV insertion.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
