Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Chelsea, Massachusetts.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and manage patient care in accordance with physician orders, including mechanical ventilation and airway care.
- Administer respiratory care modalities, such as oxygen therapy and aerosol treatments.
- Respond to respiratory emergencies, including cardiopulmonary resuscitations, and establish and maintain patient airway.
- Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare staff on respiratory care techniques and procedures.
- A.S. in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent.
- One-year clinical training or equivalent.
- Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Registration (RRT) by the N.B.R.C. within six months of hire.
