Job Summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Chelsea, Massachusetts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and manage patient care in accordance with physician orders, including mechanical ventilation and airway care.
  • Administer respiratory care modalities, such as oxygen therapy and aerosol treatments.
  • Respond to respiratory emergencies, including cardiopulmonary resuscitations, and establish and maintain patient airway.
  • Collaborate with the care team to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and healthcare staff on respiratory care techniques and procedures.
Requirements
  • A.S. in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent.
  • One-year clinical training or equivalent.
  • Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Registration (RRT) by the N.B.R.C. within six months of hire.
