We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Technical Manager to join our team at Innovative Renal Care. This is a critical role that requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit, train, and develop a team of technical employees to ensure the smooth operation of our dialysis facilities.
- Oversee the selection and management of outside service contractors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Perform and supervise all repairs and maintenance related to medical equipment, water treatment systems, and physical plant.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for alternative water supplies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage medical supply inventories and conduct in-services for facility staff as needed.
- Ensure compliance with Federal, State, OSHA, HIPAA, and other regulatory agencies, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Act as the facility's Safety Officer, promoting a safe working environment for all employees.
- Participate in all facility surveys and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) programs.
This Facility Technical Manager will support the clinic manager/immediate supervisor with supervisory responsibility of equipment technicians. The individual may participate in the interviewing and training of new staff, serve as a point of contact for problem resolution, and assist with training, coaching, and delegation of tasks.
Physical Demand/Work EnvironmentThis position operates in a clinical setting on the dialysis floor, with moderate noise levels. The individual will be exposed to cleaning and other chemicals, such as bleach, which is used daily in the work area. All hazards and chemicals are covered in the Hazard Communication Program as part of the Risk Management Policy and Procedure.
Requirements- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years of experience in dialysis in the last 4 years preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of management or supervisory experience in a medical/technical environment preferred.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to speak effectively with clients and fellow employees.
