As a hairstylist assistant, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with experienced stylists and learn the latest techniques in hair coloring, cutting, and styling. We offer a unique assistant program that accelerates your learning and development, allowing you to grow professionally and personally. Our compensation package includes daily pay + tips, and we expect a long-term commitment from our team members. The estimated salary for this role is around $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and performance. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Welcome and consult with clients to determine their hair needs and preferences.
  • Assist stylists with preparations for services, such as capeing and shampooing.
  • Develop expertise in various hair coloring techniques, including highlights, lowlights, and balayage.
  • Create custom hairstyles for clients, including up-dos, braids, and ponytails.
  • Apply hair treatments and products to maintain healthy, beautiful hair.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to strict sanitation standards.
